Jay Platt, "Mr. Unstoppable" escapes from Alcatraz...
Jay Platt, "Mr. Unstoppable" shows
people how they can obtain their absolute biggest and most meaningful goals,
despite the obstacles, "No Matter What!"
And, if you are ready, he can help you and your organization
achieve more than you ever dreamed possible.
Jay doesn't talk theory, or
discuss things he has only read about, or learned in school.
Rather, he speaks
from a firsthand knowledge of what it takes to keep going in the face of
extreme adversity, and to accomplish the seemingly impossible.
In the fall of 1998,
after fifteen years of service, a rare form of cancer attacked his
eyes, brain, spinal
cord, and kidneys
—
bringing his Marine Corps career to a sudden halt.
Down, but not defeated, he rebuilt himself and went on to become a highly accomplished adventure athlete,
and has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for various
charities in the process.
Some of Jay’s most
notable fundraising efforts include his grueling southbound thru-hike of
the more than 2,100-mile Appalachian Trail, and his swim from Alcatraz
Island to San Francisco — with both his hands and feet tied!
Jay is a nationally recognized authority in
the areas of human potential and goal achievement, and is the author of
several highly acclaimed books including his latest: No Matter What! How to
be Unstoppable, Despite the Obstacles, Starting Today.
As a professional speaker, consultant, and coach, Jay's
diverse clientele includes such top organizations as the National
Institutes of Health, IBM, TAP Pharmaceuticals, the United States Naval
Academy, and many others.
